Catholic Santos, mid-late, 1800s. Carved bone head. Skull shows refined detail of eyes, nose, mouth and ears. The the statue is carved from one piece of wood, and it has some remaints of polychrome colors. 12 in tall, base approximately 4 in wide at its widest.Both arms are missing, the wood has a few vertical cracks which accentuate the patina and the characteristics of an aging artifact. Peices of the wood base are missing, some cracks, but stands firmly (refer to pictures).Could be Colonial Philippine, Mexican, or South American in origin
