True Gaming History: The "Who Says Life is Fair?" Final Fantasy III Signature Spread
Up for sale is a piece of true 16-bit gaming history. This is not a standard, cut-out magazine clipping—this is a 4-page intact signature block retrieved directly from the November 1994 issue of Game Players magazine.
Finding these iconic Final Fantasy advertisements still attached at the original factory spine glue is nearly impossible. Most of these pages were ripped out, taped to bedroom walls, or discarded decades ago. This is a survivor, preserved in its original un-ripped, un-altered state.
Why this is a Grail Piece:
Intact Signature Block: The four pages are still connected by the original binding glue. It retains the structural integrity of the magazine spread, making it a "Holy Grail" item for serious collectors who value authentic, unaltered artifacts.
Dual Final Fantasy Legacy: This signature block features the iconic monster artwork page—the famous "Who says life is fair?" Final Fantasy III campaign—alongside the crucial historical context of the era, including 1995 industry release schedules and arcade news.
100% Authentic: Unlike modern reprints or cut-out scraps, the intact spine proves this came directly from the magazine. It is the ultimate evidence of provenance for the discerning SquareSoft collector.
Condition Report:
This piece is in clean condition with vibrant, 90s-era color saturation.
Please Note: Upon close inspection, there are light surface indentations visible on the front monster artwork page. These are minor storage/stacking marks consistent with a magazine of this age and do not detract from the stunning impact of the artwork. I have photographed these clearly so you know exactly what you are receiving.
This is a rare opportunity to own an un-molested, 4-page sequence of 1994 gaming culture. It is perfect for professional framing or as the centerpiece of a dedicated Final Fantasy collection.
Condition:
These are original vintage magazine pages, not reprints. They are in good vintage condition, clean, and highly frameable. Please note that as original magazine inserts, there may be minor, expected age-related wear or small imperfections along the borders, or corners. These items are sold as-is; please see the high-resolution photos for the exact condition.
Shipping:
Ships flat in a rigid, protective mailer to ensure these beautiful ads arrive safely at your door. There will be a S&H flat rate of $6.49. Please reach out about combined shipping on multiple orders as well as multiple buy discounts or any other questions.
