Pair of antique Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Circus wooden elephants, both desirable early glass-eye examples.
The larger elephant retains its articulated wooden construction, glass eyes, tusks, rope tail, and original gray painted finish with heavy age-related wear and patina. The smaller elephant is also an articulated wooden Schoenhut example with glass eyes and retains much of its original form and finish.
Also included is the colorful woven fringed circus blanket shown in the photos. It was found with the elephants and fits the larger example well.
