🔥 EXCEPTIONAL SMOKY SKELETAL / FENSTER QUARTZ — BALOCHISTAN, PAKISTAN 🔥417g | 4.5\" x 3.5\"This is an absolutely outstanding example of intricate Smoky Skeletal / Elestial / Fenster Quartz from Balochistan, Pakistan.The complexity of the crystal growth on this specimen is incredible. Rather than a simple quartz point, the entire piece is built from layer upon layer of stepped, skeletal growth — creating overlapping terminations, recessed windows, geometric terraces and sharply defined crystal faces across nearly the entire specimen.The coloration is especially attractive. Rich smoky brown and champagne tones run throughout the crystal, with areas transitioning into noticeably clearer quartz. When held in sunlight, the specimen lights up from within and reveals an impressive amount of internal architecture, depth and transparency.One of my favorite features is the contrast between the large dominant crystal forms and the dozens of smaller secondary terminations covering the specimen. Some areas show broad, highly reflective faces while others become extremely intricate with stacked crystal growth and pronounced Fenster-style windows.Rich natural clay inclusions are visible within portions of the quartz, adding another layer of color and character without overpowering the transparency of the specimen. The inclusions, smoky zoning and complex growth patterns make the piece look dramatically different depending on the viewing angle and lighting.The luster is excellent. Many of the larger faces have an almost mirror-like reflection in direct light, while the recessed skeletal areas reveal the complicated growth history that makes this material so collectible.This is not your average Pakistan Smoky Quartz.
