Vintage Galpin Late 1950'S Double Shaggy Dog Bank , Florence CeramicsApprox 7-1/2"T x 6-1/2"W x 3"Dthis Bank was made by the Florence Ceramics Company for the Ford Motor Company. Florence is well known for their lady figurines. Don Winton of Twin Winton Pottery designed this cute set of shaggy dog figures. The design was made into a bank for the Southern California Ford Dealers Association. They had the bank made as a promotional item for their dealerships. The Shaggy dog was used in the Ford TV commercials to coincide with the new Disney movie called The Shaggy Dog
