While you can apply it to the body of a car, be aware that if you apply it to a painted surface, if the decal is left on the surface for a long time then removed, there may be a minor difference in paint color as the decal will prevent the paint under it from fading from the sunlight.

Installation Instructions:
- Clean the surface you want to apply the decal to with soap and water, or use rubbing alcohol. Once it\'s clean, dry it off.
- Remove any air bubbles and ensure the vinyl decal is attached to the transfer tape which may be clear or look like masking tap. Use a plastic card to press the transfer tape to the vinyl.
- Slowly and carefully pull the transfer tape from the backing paper, starting with a bottom corner and pulling slowly diagonally. Check frequently to ensure the vinyl is sticking properly to the transfer tape.Note: With large decals, you can press down a part of the transfer tape to the surface where you want the decal to go, then carefully and slowly pull the backing paper away, pressing down the transfer tape to the surface a little bit at a time.
- Once the backing paper has been removed, use the plastic card again to sweep across the transfer tape to press the vinyl down to the surface and remove any air bubbles.
- Slowly and carefully peel away the transfer paper, starting with a corner and pulling across diagonally. Be sure to check to ensure the vinyl has been secured to the surface and is not stuck to the transfer tape.
