Rare original rebuilt Carter WE 1bbl carburetor correct for Carter equipped 1946 to 1952 Studebaker Champion 170 cubic inch 6 cylinder. The cast iron throttle body has a 1-3/16 inch throttle bore diameter and mounting flange bolt hole spacing is 2-11/16 inches measuring from the hole centers. Carburetor numbers covered for the 1946-52 Champion are 532S, 661S and 715S. This carb will also replace WE equipped 1935 to 1937 Studebaker Dictator models 5A-6A 217ci 6 cyl. replacing Carter # 627S, 627SA. (See the vehicle compatibilty list). This carburetor was part of the old stock rebuilt inventory from my carburetor shop and has been professionally inspected and serviced to assure proper function. All recommended settings have been set to manufacturers spec. This has been followed by an extended 5psi fluid pressure test and visual verification of strong positive accelerating pump discharge and proper choke and linkage operation.
