A very nice and beautiful stag handle Whitler pocket knife made in Sheffield England in the early 1900s with a beautiful and unique etch!!
This knife was made in the early 1900s by Walker & Co. of Sheffield England. The knife features three blades, the main with an etch of a city and the word “Homeland”
The handles are stag horn, and are in great condition with no chips or cracks. The knife has a top and bottom bolster as this is a whittler pattern. It has a split back spring. It also has a very nice shield.
The blades are all in good condition and show no signs of sharpening. Both pen blades snap open and closed, with closed having harder snap than open. The main Blade sits low in the frame and I have trouble getting at it without opening the pen blade first. You may be able to open it if you have long fingernails has great snap open and closed.
The main blade also features the edge of the city with the word Homeland underneath. Very unique.
This is a fantastic pocket knife made in Sheffield England that is in very nice condition overall.
Closed length: 3-3/16”
Open length 5-5/8”
Main blade: 2-1/2”
