Why this is necessary?

Large amounts of oil can accumulate in your intake tube when process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track.Then it would lowering the octane level of your gas,and is even worse when crankcase pressures are increased.

The Stainless steel filter traps fine oil vapors and releases them once heavy enough to fall.Then allows clean air to pass through to the intake.

Improvement compared with similar products

Sponge inside:

Brass fittings:
