Every year we make a pilgrimage to the Isle of Man to be a part of the TT scene . A few years back I saw a TT map in the window of a shop that I had to have. The owner told me he had some but were sold out 20 years ago and that it was for display only. After a prolonged negotiation it was mine. We had it duplicated by a renowned lithographer in California. A limited run and sold every one at $89. ( over 260 to residents of the Isle of Men.) Last year we were back at that very shop talking to the owner. He told us he had found two boxes of reprinted maps in the 80s from ORIGINAL maps in the basement! One box was water damaged but one was near perfect. Printed on the Isle in the late 70s and we bought every last one. We got a good deal taking the good w/ the bad and are passing on the savings. The ones we are offering are very good with slight marks on the backs and the corners have a 1/4\" dog ear but the fronts are perfect.for $39. When they are gone they are gone!

The International Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) Race is a motorcycle racing event held on the Isle of Man and was for many years the most prestigious motorcycle race in the world. The event was part of the FIM Motorcycle Grand Prix World Championship during the period 1949–1976 before being transferred to the United Kingdom after safety concerns and run by the FIM as the British Grand Prix for the 1977 season. The Isle of Man TT Races became part of the TT Formula 1 Championship during the period 1977–1990 to preserve the event\'s racing status. From 1989 the racing has been developed by the Isle of Man Department of Tourism as the Isle of Man TT Festival.
