Got this at an sale and was told it's a stamping plate or mold for the old Pontiac Grand LeMans. Used to make the name plates. It is extremely heavy solid metal and extremely cool. I have tried to research this but am coming up empty. It is developing a green patina which would suggest copper. I tried to scrub s little off with a toothbrush. Seems to come off s little but I don't want to ruin any patina coming with age so I am just selling it as is. My friend says she saw a show on an automobile history museum and she swears she saw plates like this in their display case. Wish I knew more. Weighing in at over 10 lbs. it measures about 11X4X1".
