At, Fwd, Vin Y (8th Digit) Item Description This item is from a 2004 CADILLAC DEVILLE. Automatic transmissions will come with the torque converter. Manual transmissions will not come with the pressure plate, shifter or clutch. Preinstallation Maintenance must be done or will void all warranty as explained in Guarantees & Returns. Before the sale is finalized we would like to have the VIN # of the vehicle it is going into to double check fitment. Any other questions or comments please feel free to ask. Shipping - We ship by UPS and LTL carriers depending on what is more economical for us. Heavier items that weigh more than 150lbs are shipped with a regional freight/LTL carrier.
- Items shipped by freight will require signature upon delivery. If there is a problem with delivery, the buyer is responsible for all additional charges (ex. redelivery, limited access fees).
- Local delivery available to local businesses only.
- Items are shipped insured; if item is damaged in shipping, please take photos of packaging and product, then contact us to file a claim immediately.
- If listing states \"free shipping\", free shipping is within the 48 states only. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, or any other outlying islands will have additional shipping charges.
Warranty & Returns - Standard 90-day warranty on all parts.
- Labor is not covered by warranty.
- All returns MUST be accompanied by an authorized RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization); please contact us to initiate the return.
- Non-warranty returns must be made within 30-days of purchase; 20% restocking and/or shipping charge fee may apply for certain returns.
- What is covered: Transmissions are warrantied for defects of the case/bellhousing and all internal components unless what is mentioned hereafter.
- What is NOT covered: Prior to shipping we will pull the pan to inspect the transmission. Buyer will need to replace the transmission oil filter, pan gasket, flush and add manufacturer specific fluids. Axle seals, front seals, and drive shaft seals will also need to be replaced. Transmission lines will need flushed, along with the transmission oil cooler replaced (if equipped, this needs to be done so contaminants from the bad transmission will not ruin your replacement transmission). Some external sensors or solenoids may need to be replaced. Relearning, resetting, adjustment of shifter mechanisms, replacement of computers & programming may need to be done at a Dealership for proper shifting. In some cases the Transmission Control Computer is internal and incorporated with the valve body, which may require the valve body to be replaced. Transfer cases will not be included with transmissions from 4x4 or All Wheel Drive vehicles. We do not cover Labor, diagnostics, towing or rental car costs.
