1968 Ford 428 engine block with bore size.020 oversized
This block has been cleaned magnafluxed and pressure tested
The bores are at .020 over sized but can be honed to .025 and fitted with custom pistons. There is very little ridge on the top of the cylinders.
It has the extra web in the main saddle as do all Hi-Performance 428 blocks
The date code is J 2 8 October 2 1968
I am told the reason the A on the back of the block is upside down and on the passenger side is because it is not a Thunderbird it is a Fairlane or Torino application
Thunderbird and truck 428 engines always have the A on the drives side and are not upside down.
It has C6ME on the side of the block as well.
Any one who buys this block will be very happy with its condition
Any other tests that are requested can be done at the buyers request at the end of the sale prior to shipping
If anyone reading this is well informed on Ford FE engines knows what a F on the back of a 390 means I would really appreciate help Call Ken 1-604-856-8432
