1965 396 4 bolt standard bore block casting number 3855962 dated F-17-5. The block is stamped on the front pad T0624IF 5 121870 and is out of a corvette which is the first year for the big block application and only a little over 2500 of these were made during the last half of the model year from February through July of 1965.
