This is a Texaco Peterson’s motor mart lighter. It is used and has wear inclduing scratches and dings, please see pics. I think the year of manufacture is either 55 or 56, please check the multiple websites showing identification for year, I am not seeing the right number of dots on both sides of each logo to confirm year, maybe it was overlooked when it was made? There is some paint inlay in the logo grooves that is missing. Any questions please ask.

There are special details manufacturers change, add and make between models/years, and sometimes in the middle of the year of production. I cannot guarantee a color on a vintage car part will match a colored car part you are trying to match, dye lots can vary for various reasons.
I understand we are humans and make mistakes. I am very understanding, but I no longer have patience for buyers who complain about details or damage that was clearly pictured and/or described in the ad.
