Crouse Hinds lights are and have always been a leader in industrial lighting. Likewise, Holophane is at least as popular with Old Industrial Lighting fanatics. This set-up is a combination of the two. The NOS sconce arm and electrical box are Holophane. The fitter and NOS (new old stock) socket are Crouse Hinds as is the famous Crouse Hinds VDB-3 globe.
The fitter has been media blasted and refinished with matching hi-temperature paint. The socket is vintage but brand new, found in the old original box. A new gasket was also installed. A good solid ground was added for safety, pass your inspections!!
The sconce arm is also NOS. It was a hideous bronze color. I media blasted the electric box and arm. The new finish is a 2-part paint that should last decades, even outdoors where this light would thrive. The globe is chip-free and a real beauty.
From the wall to the center of the light is about 12\". From the bottom of the globe to the top of the wall-box is almost 18\". Access to the electric box is either from the side or the back. As long as all pipe-threads have teflon tape applied, this would be fine outside in the weather. Six available at time of listing, sold individually. These lights are as new. If Crouse Hinds and Holophane remanufactured lights, these would be in the catalog.
